My name is Gabriel Simões Gaspar and I am an applied microeconomist and data scientist currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the London Business School. In my research I enjoy using machine learning methods to explore questions at the intersection of political economy and development.
Prior to my PhD, I have worked at the World Bank and obtained an MSc in Economics from LSE, an MSc in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and a BA in International Relations from the Catholic University of Brasilia.
